Capstone Reflection
I took away quite a few things from my visit to capstone presentations. From the interviews, the biggest trend I noticed were people regretting not starting early enough or leaving themselves more time to complete their capstones. That is something that I already knew would be a problem but it reinforced my belief. I thought that people, for the most part, had a good visual presentation to their capstone area. This is something that I hadn't put too much thought into. I now see it as important to have something to take away with you from the event. I noticed when showing a film, the capstone format can be very limiting. When showing a film in a classroom on loop in the dark kind of discourages people not to talk. This seems like something to keep in mind and try to address in the future. I also noticed how important it was to address the people visiting your booth with enthusiasm. If you don't have enthusiasm for your own project, then why should anyone else?
